Turnitin layanan pemeriksaan dokumen untuk plagiarisme. Umum digunakan dalam dunia pendidikan dan penelitian.

Turnitin hanya ada versi berbayarnya, tapi untuk mahasiswa kelas bisa bergabung gratis asalkan ada undangan.

Apakah akun Turnitin bisa dihapus?

Akun Turnitin dan data pribadi pengguna dapat dihapus.

Cara membatalkan akun Turnitin

1. Hubungi dosen atau staff administrasi universitas.
2. Minta agar akun Turnitin Student milik anda agar dihapus.
3. Secepat apa permintaan diproses tergantung tempat anda belajar.

Sampai saat ini tidak caranya akun jenis student menghapus datanya secara mandiri. Jadi apabila kalau pesertanya sudah lulus atau wisuda, harus mengajukan sendiri ke pengelola akunnya.

Cara yang sama berlaku untuk penghapusan paper atau file yang sudah disimpan dalam database Turnitin.

Cara menghapus akun Turnitin

1. Buka aplikasi email anda.
2. Isi alamat tujuan ke dpo@turnitin.com atau legal@turnitin.com.
3. Buat permohonan pembatalan akun dan pemusnahan informasi penggunanya.
4. Jelaskan apa alasan anda.
5. Tambahkan identitas pemilik akun yang dimaksud.
6. Kirimkan.
7. Anda akan dihubungi kembali untuk verifikasi.
8. Ikuti prosedurnya hingga selesai.
